You will also be able to purchase a nice pattern, with pictures, from Ravelry after the CAL has finished. This CAL is meant for everybody, from beginner to advanced! It is meant for you to enjoy your hobby and to end up with a nice item. I designed it as a stress-free CAL so if you find you are having problems, please do go to the FACEBOOK group OPHELIA TALKS CROCHET and ask to become a member (or better still do that right now!) and ask your question! We have like-minded people in my group and many of them will be doing the CAL. The testers who tested my pattern are also part of the group, so they can sure help you. You are not alone! We are doing this CAL together! Please Note!! The CAL is written in US terminology!! What are we making?

Fishnet Summer Top Pattern

Image
This top is worked top down using DK 50% acrylic 50% cotton from hobbycraft Cotton Blend Plain Knit Craft (available in various colours) or Scheepjes Softfun. The main criteria is for it to be DK in 50/50, 60/40 or 40/60 cotton acrylic. My top weighs 95g and I guess you could say that mine is a Medium in size. I am using a 4 so use either a 4.5 or a 5 if you have tight tension. (in the video I am using a 4.5 and my top is slightly bigger than a M, maybe a L) Use stitch-markers to help you indicate which is the first box of the round. It is very hard to see which is the start of the row! I am using US terminology  For the video click here   Fishnet Summer Top  Method Round 1: CH 130, making sure your chain is not twisted, SS to close Round 2: CH2, 1HDC in each chain, ss (130) Round 3: *CH6 skip 4 stitches and SC in 5th stitch*, place a stitch marker in this box, repeat ** until you meet the box with the stitch marker but the last CH6 is done by doing CH
